After the minority shareholders used undue influence to obtain the founder’s controlling shares, we commenced an action for the founder and forced the return of his stock by prevailing at trial.
We represented defendant shareholder and officers accused of RICO violations in connection with investments made in their company. After we completed a video deposition of the plaintiff and established key facts supporting our clients’ defense, the case was dismissed by the successful motion for summary judgment we filed for our clients. We then defeated the investor’s appeal.
In this case, we represented a privately-owned software development company suing for patent infringement. We obtained two favorable claim construction rulings. The case confidentially settled within six months after the second ruling issued.
